The second site for the beloved Hackney-based bakery, pastificio and deli Forno is a smaller, more intimate space, thoughtfully arranged across two levels. Located in the East London suburb of Leytonstone, this new outpost continues Forno’s uncompromising commitment to quality, with an interior that exudes an understated, neighbourhood charm.

On the ground floor, warm biscuity walls meet stainless steel, zinc and concrete — with a commanding cast concrete counter central to the space. Upstairs, these cool metal tones are warmed by timber accents and the original floorboards,  repainted in a vibrant, energising orange. The contrast adds character to the space, without compromising its relaxed atmosphere.

The furniture selection is deliberately eclectic, with classic design pieces alongside well-worn vintage finds. Shelves and surfaces are dotted with collected everyday objects giving the space a low-key, lived-in feel.

The result is a space that feels both refined and unpretentious — a natural evolution of Forno’s brand identity, and a considered addition to the Leytonstone neighbourhood.
