INTERIOR STYLING
This full interior renovation of a London Fields home transforms the space with thoughtful design and meticulous craftsmanship. The kitchen layout is reimagined with key structural changes, allowing French doors to open onto a Juliet balcony and better connecting the interior to the outdoors.
Throughout the space, bespoke joinery elevates the design, including brushed and waxed stainless steel cabinetry in the newly created kitchen alcove. The original floorboards have been restored and stained in a warm, off-black hue, adding depth and character. Curves play a key role in the design, taking reference from a convex curved wall in the living room space and echoed throughout.
The living room features lime wash walls, restored period ceiling roses and cornicing, and modern statement lighting. Vintage stone tables complement earthy, stone-toned upholstery and Arts and Crafts-era dining chairs.
Upstairs, the bathroom layout has been reconfigured to include a utility area with storage, finished in seamless microcement with a limestone bath surround. The hallway, bedroom, and study are painted in warm, chalky tones with ultra-matt finishes, while sisal flooring adds texture.
To preserve the building’s original charm and enhancing its street appeal, exterior plasterwork was restored and repainted. Street-facing windows are dressed with privacy panels and heavy weight cotton-linen curtains on beeswax-rubbed wrought iron hardware.
