The original showroom space for bridal retailer The Fall drew inspiration from its context – an ex-factory building in the gritty and industrial Hackney Wick neighbourhood in East London. The space was designed around the use of readily available industrial components, such as key clamp junctions and scaffolding poles, leaning into the character of the building. As a counterbalance, we used washed linen for curtains to divide the fitting room and office space from the main space, adding softness.
